This model combines the classic alembic geometry with a one-piece solid copper bottom, creating a system that is exceptionally stable, leak-resistant, and versatile across a wide range of distillation applications.

American Alembic Design — 

Traditional alembic stills made overseas are admired for their shape, but often lack the structural robustness required for demanding use (many of them are paper-thin) Our American version attempts to replicate the functional geometry of the alembic while upgrading the construction to handle plant material directly on the bottom of the still.

The diamond-shaped body promotes smooth vapor rise, while the solid bottom provides consistent heat transfer and long-term durability.  No worries about leaks. 

Solid Copper Bottom — No Leaks, Direct Heat Ready

The defining feature of this design is the solid copper bottom. A solid bottom eliminates common failure points and allows material to sit directly on the base of the vessel.  This means you can strain your mash less, or not at all if you wanted to experiment with different flavor profiles.
